EcoXperience wants to educate and create value from the waste and pollution caused by cooking oils.

Born in 2016, the EcoXperience is a Portuguese start-up that focuses on reusing and reducing pollution derived from cooking oils. According to 2017 data from the Portuguese Environment Agency, 35 thousand tons of cooking oil are dumped into domestic sewage every year.

The project operates on two fronts: in the area of toys with an educational line based on Soapy, a product that allows users to transform cooking oil into liquid soap. And also in the area of cleaning products, across domestic and industrial lines. The start-up's objective is to operate in the scientific toys and cleaning products market.

At the moment, EcoXperience is looking for 150 thousand euros and companies to help publicize and promote the products already developed. In addition, there is a need to find partners for the commercialization of kits educational line already developed by the start-up.
The biggest barrier you are encountering is the fact that the sales process is still very time-consuming.

Educational product
Soapy, the educational product already developed by the start-up, is a kit aimed at children who want to create their own liquid soap from used cooking oil. In addition to being safe for young children, this product is hypoallergenic and 100% biodegradable. According to the data presented by the project, each kit “saves” 200 thousand liters of water.

Competitive advantages
EcoXperience sees competitive advantages in its two market lines:
Educational Line – Education, ecology, reuse, utility, family experience, possibility of purchasing refills.
Domestic/industrial line – Simplicity and safety, financial savings, environmental responsibility.
