🌿 EcoX finalist for the REGIOSTARS 2025 Award – Green Europe category
EcoX has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious Awards REGIOSTARS 2025 , in the Green Europe category , which distinguishes the most innovative and sustainable projects in European regional development.
The project “ EcoX – Recycling Cooking Fats through Green Chemistry ” transforms used cooking oils into eco-friendly detergents, using patented technology and clean energy, a circular economy solution.
Thanks to this innovative approach:

More than 500 tons of used cooking oil have already been recovered;

Over 100 eco-friendly products have been developed;
-
And schools, businesses, and communities got involved, promoting environmental education, water conservation, and sustainability.
This project stands out as a national and international benchmark in circular economy and green innovation.
Public voting for the “ Public” will open on September 2nd. Choice Award — we're counting on your vote! Mark your calendars: voting is open until October 15th on the official REGIOSTARS website.
The project will be presented in Brussels on October 14th, during the European Week of Regions and Cities, with the awards ceremony taking place the following day.
